- You're stranded on a deserted island or in outer space, and you get to take just one song with you. Which one will it be? Residents and staff across the CDOC share the story behind their One Tune. This week, we meet Sterling Correctional Facility resident Ian Ketterer. He chooses as his One Tune “Water No Get Enemy” by Fela Kuti, in a conversation with producer Davis Andrew.

- Ear Hustle is a podcast from Radiotopia out of San Quentin State Prison, bringing you the daily realities of life inside California prison, and stories from the outside, post-incarceration. This week, it’s Ear Hustle episode 5, “Catch A Kite,” where listeners write in with questions about life inside.

- This week’s Prison Podcast Picks Special Selection is another episode of BACK FROM BROKEN, a production of Colorado Public Radio. BACK FROM BROKEN is a show about adversity and recovery. Episode 5 of BACK FROM BROKEN features the journey of the band The Lumineers, who share their music as they share their stories.

- With(In) is a Colorado’s own prison podcast produced by University of Denver Prison Arts Initiative. In this episode from 2019, we meet 2 men incarcerated in Colorado who explore their own relationship to violence and share their story of attempting to escape from prison.

- Uncuffed is a podcast from KALW San Francisco produced by residents of Solano and San Quentin prisons. This week, the show explores the struggle of parenting from inside prison. Children of incarcerated parents are more likely to get in trouble at school, lack stable housing, and end up involved in the criminal legal system themselves. And breaking those cycles is not easy, especially when contact with your children is limited.
